Before you read anything into this
Profiling Domo VC here is informational, not a recommendation. Almost all venture funds only accept institutional or high-net-worth limited partners with minimums far beyond most individual investors — see our guide to venture funds for how that actually works.

Venture funds explained →
What a venture fund is, and why you probably cannot invest in one
A venture fund raises a pool of capital from limited partners — pension funds, endowments, family offices, sometimes wealthy individuals — and invests it in startups over roughly a decade. The managers earn a management fee on the committed capital plus a share of the profits, typically around 20%, once the fund returns its investors' money. Minimum commitments almost always run into the hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, and most funds are closed to new investors between fundraises.
That matters for how you read this profile. Seeing a well-known fund in a company's round tells you a professional investor did diligence and accepted the price — useful information. It does not give you a way to participate on the same terms. The realistic routes for an individual are the ones covered elsewhere on this site: authorised crowdfunding platforms, syndicates, or a direct angel cheque.
